SENIOR CITIZENS | Meetings, activities announced


Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet at noon Tuesday at St. Mark’s Fellowship Hall on Logan Way. Lou Pizzuto will preside, and Gloria Wielbruda and Roberta Shick will give reports. Luncheon hostesses are Shick and Connie DiPiero. There will be a ticket auction. All retirees are welcome. To report illnesses, call DiPiero at 330-788-2340.

Liberty Friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty Presbyterian Church. Cards and games will be played. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee will be provided. Guests are welcome.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Wanda Conner will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. Packard Electric and Delphi Packard Local 717 Retirees will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Local 717 Union Hall, Warren Commerce Park, 22950 Sferra Ave., Warren. Members are asked to take a labeled covered dish and table service. No main meat dish will be provided this month. Reminder: Membership dues of $5 are to be paid this month.

Park Vista Breakfast Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 10 at the gathering room at Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave. Andrea Wood, publisher of the Business Journal will speak on “Mahoning Valley Renews Its Spirit.” There will be a free continental breakfast. Sts. Peter and Paul Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ukrainian Center with Ann Smith presiding. Reports will be given by Pat Hoffman and Laura Dulay, who also will serve as a hostess along with Mary Soltis, Ann Watson and Eleanor Hanley.
