Case anniversary is celebrated at family dinner

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Case of Boardman celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary recently during a family dinner at Johnny’s in Boardman.

The former Betty Boyer and Mr. Case were united in marriage on Jan. 27, 1951, in Locust Grove Baptist Church, Greenford.

Mr. Case served 21/2 years with the U.S. Army, stationed in the Philippines. He retired as a roll turner from Youngstown Sheet and Tube in 1986.

After helping to raise their five children, Cheryl, Barb, Janet, Jim and Laura, Mrs. Case was employed by Servomation Co. as a machine attendant at Metal Carbides prior to retiring in 1982.

The couple have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and are active members of Evangel Baptist Church.
