Mary Harper and Joshua Thompson, both of Warren, are announcing their engagement and plans for their upcoming marriage.

The couple have chosen April 9 for their 3 p.m. wedding at Newton Falls Community Center in Newton Falls and for a reception immediately after the ceremony. Invitations will be extended for both.

Parents of the bride-elect are Dennis and Sharie Mohan of Warren, and the prospective groom is a son of Robert and Jodi Thompson of Akron.

The bride-to-be is employed as a guard by Securitas Security Services in Warren

Her fianc is a diesel technician with P.A.M. Transport Inc. in North Jackson.
