POLAND

The engagement of Dana Lynn Donchess and Jason William Schmit, both of New Albany, Ohio, is being announced by her parents, John and Jody Donchess of Poland.

Parents of the future groom are Ralph and Rita Schmit of Celina, Ohio.

The bride-to-be is an admissions adviser at DeVry University in Columbus. She graduated from Marietta College with a bachelor’s degree in advertising/public relations and marketing.

Her fianc attended Wright State University and is a district preload operations specialist with FedEx in Columbus.

St. Matthew the Apostle Church in Gahanna, Ohio, will be the setting on July 23 for the 2 p.m. open wedding planned by the couple. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception at the Creekside Conference and Event Center in Gahanna.
