“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m. Sunday on 21 WFMJ-TV; and 10 a.m. Tuesday on Time Warner Cable community access channel): Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority will present its annual Snowflake Ball with the theme “Dancing with the Stars.” Dr. Carol Staton and Dr. Tonia Farmer will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the event and the fund-raising effort for the group’s scholarship fund.

Eastwood to direct Beyonc in ‘Star’

Clint Eastwood has signed on to direct Beyonc in the Warner Bros. update of “A Star Is Born.”

The short list of names circulating to play opposite the pop sensation, as an alcoholic superstar in love with Beyonc ’s’ budding singer, includes Will Smith, Eddie Murphy and Jon Hamm, according to Deadline Hollywood.
