The Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road, will present the three-part series, “Well of Body, Wise of Mind and Whole in Spirit” in February and March.

Sessions are: “Well of Body” with Eve Bevilaqua on Feb. 1; “Wise of Mind” on Feb. 16 with Dr. Joseph Mosca and “Whole in Spirit” on March 2 with the Rev. Nicholas Shori.

All sessions are from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

A donation of $10 per session is requested or the series for $25.

Concert at church

The community and surrounding area is invited to a free concert at Covenant Life Fellowship Church, 5900 W. Liberty St.

The church will host the free concert featuring the band I.H.S. at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 30.

The theme for the evening is “Facets of Grace.”

I.H.S., a band featuring local talent, has ministered in music at various venues in the area.

Admission is free and an offering will be accepted.

Speaker planned

Youngstown-Warren Chapter of the Society of St. John Chrysostom rescheduled its meeting because of inclement weather. The session is planned for 7 p.m. Monday at St. Maron Church, 1555 S. Meridian Road.

Speaker will be Chorbishop Michael Kail, pastor of St. Maron’s, whose topic will be “A Review of Who the Maronites Are and of Current Maronite Liturgical Praxis.”

The society is an ecumenical organization of Catholic and Orthodox clergy and laity.

Bible study

Good Hope Lutheran Church, 12030 Market St., will sponsor a six-week Bible study, “Praying like Jesus the Messiah,” with sessions at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning next week.

The illustrated Bible course from Crossways International will help navigate through the Bible.

King’s Kids Club

The King’s Kids Club of Church Hill United Methodist Church, 189 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, will begin its second semester from 4:45 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The program includes music, Bible study, crafts, games and dinner. The free program is for the family.

Death and burial

Jewish/Christian Studies/North continues its discussion of the role of sin and death in Jewish, Christian and Islam during a program at 1 p.m. Feb. 2 at Temple El Emeth, 3970 Logan Way.

Traditions involving death and burial in the Orthodox faith will be examined by the Rev. Remus Bleahu.
