St. Patrick School in Hubbard is accepting kindergarten through eighth-grade registration for the 2011-12 school year at the school office, 38 E. Water St.
Financial-aid applications are available. The school accepts the Ohio Ed. Choice Scholarship (voucher) and offers busing from Liberty, Brookfield, Hubbard and Youngstown.
There is also a before- and after-school child-care program from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Official GED testing sponsored by Youngstown Adult Basic and Literacy Education Program, University System of Ohio, is 3:45 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Choffin Career and Technical Center.
Participants must be pre- registered and bring a photo ID. To preregister or enroll in free classes, call Youngstown ABLE at 330-744-8715.

Sts. Mary and Joseph School, which serves children in preschool through eighth grade, has opened registration for the 2011-12 school year.
Preschool offers morning sessions for 3- and 4-year-olds and kindergarten-prep classes. The prep classes are available two, three or five days a week.
Children going into kindergarten must be age 5 by Sept. 30. Children entering first grade must be age 6 by the same date and must provide evidence of successfully completing kindergarten in an accredited school.
Registration materials are available at the school office from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Questions may be directed to 330-872-7676.
If registering a child in person, bring the child’s original birth certificate, baptismal certificate (if Catholic), proof of adequate immunization as required by Ohio law, proof of custody for students not living with natural parents, child’s Social Security card and a $100 nonrefundable registration fee. The fee is applied to next year’s tuition.
