Penguin Swimmers compete in middle school meet

The seventh and eighth-grade Penguin swimmers participated in LESI North Ohio Seventh and Eighth Grade Invitational 2010 at Lakewood High School in Cleveland Dec. 11.

The team, consisting of swimmers from Boardman, Canfield and Cortland, were coached by Greg McAtee, of Boardman. The girls team finished third and the boys placed fifth. Ten swimmers participated in the meet.

Penguin Swimming is the local USA team that practices at the state-of-the-art Youngstown State University Beeghley Natatorium.
