Sandals Resort in Ocho Rios was the setting Oct. 17 for the wedding of Bridget Renee Beachy and David Earl Bauman Jr., both of Springfield, Mo.

Andre John officiated as the couple exchanged vows at 4 p.m., and the couple were honored during a reception following the ceremony.

Bob and Debbie Beachy of Ithaca, N.Y., formerly of Boardman, are parents of the bride, and the groom is a son of Jeanne B. Swaskoski of Sarver, Pa., and the late David E. Bauman Sr.

The bride’s white charmeuse halter-style gown featured a V-neckline, ruched surplice bodice and dropped waist. It was adorned with beaded embroidered appliqu s, and the skirt flowed into a chapel train.

Blue gowns were worn by Allison Davis and Ashley Phillips, the honor attendants, and Michawn Rich, Lauren Uranker, Renee Farina, Lauren Craig and Jennifer Hlebovy, the bridesmaids.

Adam Bauman served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Cody Clarke, the groom’s cousin; Brian Connelly; Brent Wilson; Brian Lillis; John Sell, the groom’s uncle; and Robert A. Beachy, a brother of the bride.

Mrs. Baughman graduated from Geneva College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in mental health counseling. She is pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology at Forest Institute of Professional Psychology.

Mr. Baughman earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Albany, SUNY, and a master’s in mental health counseling from Geneva College. He is a graduate assistant at Forest Institute of Professional Psychology, where he is pursing a doctorate in clinical psychology.
