Meier scores 22 to guide Milwaukee

Tony Meier scored 22 points to lead Wisconsin-Milwaukee to an 87-75 victory over Illinois-Chicago Thursday night.

Anthony Hill had 18 points and a team-high six rebounds before fouling out for the Panthers (9-9, 4-3 Horizon League). Tone Boyle added 17 points and Kaylon Williams had 14 for Milwaukee.

Robo Kreps led Illinois-Chicago with 19 points. Dipanjot Singh had 17 points, Paul Carter scored 16 and Paris Carter had 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds for the Flames (5-13, 0-6), who have lost 10 of their last 11 games.

GREEN BAY 71, LOYOLA 68

Rahmon Fletcher scored 21 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead Green Bay (9-9, 3-3 Horizon), which held the Ramblers to just 37.5 percent shooting from the field.

Bryquis Perine added 16 points and Alec Brown 11 for Green Bay, which got just three points from its bench.

Ben Averkamp had 19 points and Terrance Hill had 11 for Loyola (10-8, 1-6).

Mid-American Miami (Ohio) 70, Buffalo 67

Julian Mavunga scored 21 points and pulled down seven rebounds for Miami (Ohio) in Mid-American Conference play Thursday night.

The RedHawks (7-9, 2-0) led 65-63 with 1:15 left before two free throws from Mitchell Watt tied the score at 65 with 53 seconds remaining.

Antonio Ballard and Winbush scored 15 points apiece for the RedHawks, who shot 53.3 percent from the floor (24 of 45).
