Katie Wingard, Joshua Goodwin are engaged

The engagement and plans for the summer wedding of Katie Maureen Wingard and Joshua Robert Goodwin, both of Findlay, are announced by their parents, Denny and Bonnie Wingard of Canfield and Scott and Kathy Goodwin of Milan, Ohio.

The bride-to-be holds a degree in middle childhood education from Youngstown State University and a master of teaching degree from the University of Findlay. She is a seventh-grade mathematics teacher and a middle school girls’ volleyball coach at Fostoria Community Schools.

Her fianc earned a degree in civil engineering from Ohio Northern University and a master’s degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University. He is an engineer for Marathon Oil Co. in Findlay.

The couple will be married at 3 p.m. July 9 at the gazebo in Fellows Riverside Gardens, Mill Creek Park, Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception at Tippecanoe Country Club, Canfield.
