Annual meeting set by civic league

NEW WILMINGTON, PA.

The annual installation of officers will take place during a meeting of Wilmington Township Civic League of Mercer County at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the township building.

The public is invited to witness the installation of Bill McKissick, president; Ken Harris, vice president; Nancy Harris, secretary; and Fred Deramo, treasurer.

Township supervisors will speak about ”The State of the Township,” covering such topics as the 911 ordinance, the agricultural security area, sewer project progress, and the proposal to create a recreation area for children.

Those participating are asked to take a table service and a salad or casserole to share. Meat and dessert will be provided. For more information call 724-946-8074.

Hatha yoga class scheduled Sundays

LIBERTY

A Hatha yoga class has been scheduled for Sunday evenings at Liberty Township Administration Building, 6400 Princeton Road, Liberty.

Each class will be from 7 to 8 p.m., and the cost will be $7 per class. Proceeds will benefit the Liberty Relay for Life.

Those who wish to participate should wear comfortable exercise clothing and will be in bare feet.
