Atty. Jeff Adler, 47, of Hubbard is announcing his candidacy for Girard Municipal Court judge. He has been a practicing attorney since 1990.

Adler currently is the elected Hubbard law director and an assistant Trumbull County prosecutor under Dennis Watkins.

He served from 2002-06 as an acting judge in Girard Municipal Court, where he also has served as prosecutor. He is a veteran of the Ohio National Guard.

Adler is married to the former Tina Rosile; they have two children.

Incumbent Judge Michael Bernard is not seeking re-election.
