Worst case: Up to a foot of snow in some areas
The Mahoning Valley could see as much as a foot of snow in some areas by Wednesday night.
Parts of the area were expected to get up to 7 inches of snow today, and another 2 to 5 Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
The area is under a winter weather advisory until 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Snow started falling this afternoon.
Also, the unseasonably low temperatures aren’t expected to get higher in the coming days.
