Ukraine New Year’s event scheduled

YOUNGSTOWN

Malanka — New Year’s Eve in Ukraine, will be Jan. 29 at the Orthodox Center, 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave., with a dinner buffet at 5:30 p.m. and a dance featuring the Del Sinchak Band at 7 p.m. A special performance by a Ukrainian dance group will be at 8 p.m. There will be a cash bar and champagne toast at 10 p.m., with hats and noisemakers.

Tickets are $20 ($5 for 18 and under) in advance if ordered by Sunday. Call 330-799-7911. Tickets also will be available at the door for $25 ($10 for young adults).
