Park Vista to host Elderhostel program

YOUNGSTOWN

A Day of Discovery program, developed by Road Scholar, Elderhostel Inc., the leader in lifelong learning, will be presented at 9:45 a.m. Jan. 20 in the gathering room at Park Vista Retirement Community, 1216 Fifth Ave.

The program will focus on Eleanor Roosevelt, a woman whose many roles led her to become one of the 20th century’s most admired women. During a course based on curriculum developed by Dr. Elizabeth Kelly of DePaul University in Chicago, she delved into the politics, history and social action that defined her career and life mission.
