Austintown Chapter AARP 4339 will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church, 1612 S. Raccoon Road. Elections and installation of officers will take place. Members are encouraged to take canned green beans for Rescue Mission donation. Blood-pressure screenings will be available. Guests and new members are always welcome.
The executive board of Canfield Chapter 3104, AARP, will meet Jan. 17 at the church. Call 330-332-4791 to make reservations for the day trip Feb. 12 to see “South Pacific” at Playhouse Square in Cleveland.
An 11 a.m. liturgy will precede Tuesday’s monthly meeting of the Golden Pillars at noon at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave. Eleanor Hnat will preside, birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and cards and bingo will be played. Members are asked to take their own place settings for a luncheon.
J.C. Penney Retirees will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Denny’s in Boardman.
Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Barbara Burnside will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. St. Anthony Senior Club will not meet in January or February. Meetings will resume March 8 and bus trips will be scheduled in April.
St. Brendan Seniors will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Maxwell Hall with Dorothy LoSasso presiding. Reports will be given by Ann Banyots and Dorothy Prochek. St. Cyril and Methodius Seniors will meet after the 11:30 a.m. Mass on Thursday at the church social hall.
