The Blue Devils tied the game at 34 after beginning the fourth quarter on a 9-0 run. With 4:02 remaining the Rockets ended a scoring drought with a basket from Gerrod Hrusovsky and then closed the game on a 16-4 run. Anthony Alfano had 15 to lead Lowellville (5-2, 2-2 ITCL Tier Two). Mike Mangine added 11. Thomas Benyo scored a game-high 20 for Western Reserve (0-9). The Rockets’ defense forced 25 turnovers, including eight in the fourth quarter. Dean Donatelli added 10 boards for the Rockets, who lost the rebound battle 31-23.

Rogers, Norris and Brad Ferraro made 4 of 4 free throws. Luke Barker had 10 points and Austin Barbato added nine for Columbiana (2-6, 1-3), which converted just 1 of 5 at the foul line.
