Farmers extends expiration date

CANFIELD

Farmers National Banc Corp., the holding company for the Farmers National Bank of Canfield, announced Friday that it has extended the expiration date for its subscription-rights offering by seven days to 5 p.m. Jan. 21.

The expiration date has been extended to provide shareholders with additional time to exercise their nontransferable subscription rights as an accommodation due to delays in mailing and deliveries, the company said in a press release.

Under the terms of the rights offering, Farmers distributed nontransferable rights to subscribe for and purchase up to 2,946,864 common shares to people who owned its common shares as of the 5 p.m. Oct. 25 record date.

Under the rights-offering terms, all shareholders as of the record date received one subscription right for each common share held at no charge.

Each subscription right entitles the holder to purchase 0.21653 common shares at a subscription price of $3 per share.
