Children’s librarians Karen Saunders and Cheryl Bellanca put on a puppet show Dec. 7 during the 4s and 5s storytime. The puppets read the children “The Night Before Christmas” and explained the words they may not be familiar with like a peddler or St. Nick.

The librarians also led the children in two interactive stories and in singing “12 Days of Christmas.”

Following the activities, kids were offered sugar cookies and participated in a craft project. Each child decorated a tree-shaped Christmas tree ornament with various holiday stickers.

Storytime for 4s and 5s is offered each Tuesday at 10 a.m. For information, visit www.libraryvisit.org.
