Aggravated menacing: A South Avenue man told authorities he opened his door to someone dressed in black with a gun who demanded the victim get on the ground. The homeowner slammed his door, and the gunman fled, a report said.
Criminal damaging: A trailer in the 4000 block of South Avenue had a broken window.
Theft: A woman reported her purse stolen in the township.
Menacing: A Paxton Road woman said her daughter had been threatened.
Harassment: An Auburn Hills Drive man reported receiving a series of unwanted calls.
Harassment: A Homestead Drive woman told police of getting threatening and obscene calls.

Theft: Two men stole two desktop computers from Walmart, costing the store about $1,800.
Menacing: An Oak Knoll Drive man told police a member of a painting crew he had hired threatened to harm him.
Theft: Factory tires and wheels were stolen from a vehicle at Rick Bayus Motors, 5206 Youngstown-Poland Road.
Drugs: Police took into custody 20-year-old Nathan M. Shores, 7421 Sierra Madre Trail, Boardman, on a warrant from Struthers charging him with possession of marijuana.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle’s driver’s-side mirror was damaged in the 800 block of Afton Avenue.
Felonious assault: A Poland man told police a driver intentionally struck his car near Sheridan and Mathews roads after an argument between the two motorists. The accuser’s car had damage to its front fender.
Theft: A woman noticed her wallet missing at a Boardman-Poland Road eatery.
Harassment: A Huntington Drive woman said her daughter’s boyfriend called, yelling and swearing at her.
Attempted burglary: Ground-floor window screens to a residence in the 6800 block of Paxton Road were tampered with, leading the homeowner to believe someone had tried to break in.
Robbery: A Canfield woman told authorities a man in his 30s forcibly stole prescription medications from her as she left Brown’s Drugs, 5106 Southern Blvd.
Theft: Two women stole 34 items, including food and clothing, from Dollar General, 5953 South Ave.
Nov. 16
Theft: Scott D. Spencer, 19, of 7363 Eisenhower Drive, Boardman, was accused in the theft of bulk candy from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Harassment: A Youngstown man reported receiving threatening cell-phone calls while at the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Two women stole numerous body products from Bath & Body Works, 379 Boardman-Poland Road.
Breaking and entering: Someone may have used a key to break into a residence in the 4800 block of Oak Knoll Drive and steal an estimated $1,500 worth of copper piping from the basement.
Possible theft: An Atlanta man reported his identification card lost or stolen at an East Midlothian Boulevard store.
Breaking and entering: Someone entered a storage building in the 6400 block of Southern Boulevard via a side window. Stolen was roughly 150 feet of copper wiring.
Assault: Two men reportedly assaulted each other at a Market Street eatery.
Theft/forgery: An employee at a Southern Park Mall business accused a co-worker of stealing three checks from his checkbook, forging his name and cashing two for $600.
Misuse of a credit card: A Youngstown man alleged a worker for a Boardman-Poland Road restaurant deliberately charged his credit card twice for one meal. The employee was fired, a report showed.
Auto theft: A 1985 Chevrolet Lumina was stolen in the 1100 block of Thalia Avenue.
Nov. 19
Theft: Rhiannon L. Summerville, 27, of 8171 Washington-Sharon Road, Masury, was charged in the theft of $302 worth of clothing from Sears in the Southern Park Mall. Summerville also was arrested on a felony charge of heroin possession. Domestic violence: James R. Pesano, 25, of 1729 Lynn Mar Ave., Boardman, was charged with the crime after his girlfriend alleged Pesano had pulled her hair, then threatened to kill her.
Theft: A woman in her 30s stole a trash can and miscellaneous property from Dollar General, 271 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: Two women stole $916 worth of clothing and shoes from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall. The items were recovered.
Theft: Three purses were taken from Possessions Inc., 945 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Harassment: An elderly Applewood Boulevard woman reported a man made threatening cell-phone calls.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a storage unit in the 400 block of Boardman-Canfield Road and removed numerous Viagra and other pills.
Theft: An employee with Lube Depot, 6122 Market St., told officers a co-worker failed to make a scheduled night deposit.
Criminal mischief: A rear storm door sustained damage in the 300 block of Meadowbrook Avenue.
Nov. 20
Arrest: Officers responded to an unwanted person at the Southern Park Mall, where they arrested 28-year-old Jerome R. McGee, no address listed, on a bench warrant charging him with criminal trespassing.
Domestic violence: Jessica M. Dellick, 21, of 135 Afton Ave., Boardman, faced two counts of domestic violence after her mother alleged Dellick had struck her face and neck, then kicked her stomach during an argument about a cell phone. Dellick’s father alleged she had spit in his face.
Citation: Bryan J. Romito, 24, of 584 KarolinaDrive, Campbell, was cited on a charge of disorderly conduct while intoxicated when, police said, he argued with officers who asked him to leave a Market Street eatery.
Theft: Kayla M. Chaney, 228 Falls Ave., and Trista A. Scott of 75 Benita Ave., both in Youngstown, were arrested after a theft at Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive. The two 20-year-old Youngstown women were accused of stealing house-ware items and cosmetics.
Theft: Several alcoholic beverages were stolen from Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Robbery: A woman leaving a business in the 4000 block of Market Street told police that a man asked to use her cell phone before punching her head, stealing $1,000 and fleeing on foot. The woman suffered a bump to her forehead.
Theft: Medications, golf clubs and a gym bag were taken from a vehicle at Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Ashley R. Wheeler, 24, of 506 Fourth St., Struthers, was charged with theft and possession of drugs after $47 worth of merchandise was stolen from Walmart.

Arrest: Police in the 100 block of Mathews Road took into custody 32-year-old Rodney N. Seabrook, 2299 Volney Road, Youngstown, who was wanted on a felony warrant accusing him of violating a court order.
Theft: A mailbox and pole were stolen in the 1500 block of Walker Mill Road.
Theft: A surveillance camera showed a man stealing several pieces of metal from a trash bin behind a business in the 500 block of East Western Reserve Road.
Theft: Miscellaneous toys and clothing were stolen from Goodwill Industries Inc., 285 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A woman in her mid-20s took a $5 game from Family Dollar, 4028 South Ave.
Theft: Alyssa M. Mansell, 19, of 63 S. Osborn St., Youngstown, was charged with taking four women’s shirts from the J.C. Penney store.
Theft: A $500 X-ray table was stolen from Tiffany Breast Care Center, 7067 Tiffany Blvd.
Arrest: Police responded to a bad-check report and arrested 43-year-old Kelly R. Baker, 4951 Southern Blvd., Boardman, on a warrant from Liberty charging him with failure to appear in court.
Theft by deception: An employee of a BP Unimart station, 310 Boardman-Canfield Road, told police a man in his 30s used deceptive means to steal 20 cartons of cigarettes. The theft came to $600.
Criminal mischief: Eggs struck windows and siding on a residence in the 7600 block of Winterberry Drive.
Breaking and entering: Someone tossed a rock through a front window and entered Quality Truck Body & Equipment Inc., 4440 Simon Road. Stolen were a computer tower and monitor.
Domestic violence: Police charged 38-year-old Willie J. Hayes, 1012 Washington Ave., Farrell, Pa., after authorities responded to a Market Street motel, where a woman alleged Hayes had forcibly pulled her from a bed by her wrists during an argument, causing redness and scratches.

Menacing: A worker for a Boardman-Canfield Road fast-food restaurant reported a drive-through customer threatened to harm her.
Attempted theft: Someone ransacked a vehicle in the 600 block of Saddlebrook Drive.
Theft/damage: A car in the 300 block of Boardman-Poland Road had a smashed window. Stolen were two bowling balls, a coat, a global positioning system device and a pair of hunting boots.
Theft: A Market Street woman reported a check stolen.
Theft: A $429 cell phone was removed from AT&T, 7125 Tiffany Blvd.
Theft: Two hair weaves were stolen from The Hair Depot, 4026 Market St.
Theft by deception: The manager of a Youngstown company alleged a worker offering a sales contract to a Terrace Drive woman improperly handled one of two checks.
Harassment: A Wendy Lane woman reported receiving two nude photographs on her cell phone.
Theft: A set of keys was removed from a car at a U.S. Route 224 gas station.
Theft: Six propane tanks were stolen from Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: An employee of a Boardman-Canfield Road gas station noticed a deposit was short by an undisclosed amount.
Burglary: To a garage in the 500 block of Presidential Drive, from which a GPS unit, a radio, a cell-phone charger and a power strip were taken.
Nov. 26
Theft: Police charged a 12-year-old Youngstown boy with stealing two Wii game accessories and a global-positioning system unit from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive. He was released to the custody of his sister.
Assault: A Canfield man reported having been pushed in the chest while in the locker room of a McClurg Road business.
Criminal damaging: A kitchen window was broken at a home in the 5200 block of Southern Boulevard.
Aggravated menacing: An Austintown man at the Southern Park Mall told police someone threatened to shoot him.
Menacing: A Maple Avenue man reported someone threatened to harm him after he asked someone not to walk in his yard.
Assault: A woman told police her 60-year-old brother was pushed as he came out of a restroom at a Windham Court business. He was not injured.
Breaking and entering: Numerous copper sculpture pieces were taken from a building someone had entered in the 200 block of Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A 17-year-old McKees Rocks, Pa., girl was booked and released to the custody of her father after being accused of stealing three pieces of jewelry from Macy’s in the Southern Park Mall.
Burglary: To an apartment in the 7400 block of Huntington Drive. Nothing appeared to be missing, though a satellite radio was found on the floor.
Menacing: A woman arrived at an East Western Reserve Road church and discovered a message on an answering machine that implied someone would be shot.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle’s rear-hatch window was smashed in the 1200 block of Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A city boy, 15, faced charges of theft and resisting arrest after two Sony PlayStation 3 games were stolen from Walmart.
Nov. 27
Theft: A woman at the Southern Park Mall reported $143 worth of clothing missing.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle in the 100 block of Meadowbrook Avenue had damage to a driver’s-side door handle.
Drugs: Police pulled over a car near Simon Road then cited 50-year-old Nathaniel S. Austin, 36 Woodside Drive, Austintown, on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Menacing: A worker for a Southern Park Mall store told police that a person he had banned from the business challenged him to a fight.
Assault: A North Lima boy reported being struck in the back of the head while in the 7300 block of California Avenue, He was not hurt, however.
Arrests: Charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing official business were filed against two Youngstown boys, both 13, and a 16-year-old Warren boy after a fight on Doral Drive. The teens fled from police and ignored commands to stop, they said.
Nov. 28
Theft: Two packages of energy drinks as well as gum were stolen from Walgreen’s Pharmacy, 7295 Market St.
Theft: A Firnley Avenue man reported the theft of a $70 bicycle.
Theft: A $2,500 laptop computer and an MP3 player were removed from a vehicle in the 400 block of Indianola Road.
Theft: A man’s $500 cell phone was stolen at a Boardman-Poland Road store.
Assault: Earl E. Cooley Jr., 46, of 8301 Camden Way, Canfield, was picked up at the Columbiana County Jail and charged after a Canterbury Lane woman reported having been injured in an assault.
Auto theft: A 2006 Kia Spectra was stolen in the 6000 block of Applecrest Court.
Nov. 29
Attempted fraud: A Southern Boulevard woman told officers a woman with a Jamaican accent called to say the accuser had won $1 million but would have to send $170 to claim her winnings.
Arrest: Police took custody of 22-year-old Amanda C. Seman, 3515 Belden Ave., Youngstown, who was at the Mahoning County jail. Seman faced two counts of complicity after a vehicle in the 7100 block of Tiffany Boulevard had been entered and a $200 GPS device stolen.
Theft: Charlene C. Herrmann, 27, of 3804 Liberty Ave., Hubbard, was charged after her father-in-law, of Lockwood Boulevard, noticed $40 missing from his residence.
Arrest: Israel B. Lopez Jr., 38, was arrested at his home, 1900 Brandon Ave., Poland, on felony charges of breaking and entering, vandalism, safecracking and obstructing justice after a break-in at Labor Ready, 4338 Market St. An automated-teller machine was damaged, and wires to exterior lights were cut, a report showed.
Theft: A township woman discovered an unauthorized $84.69 charge made via the Internet.
Theft: A Glenwood Avenue woman noticed four unauthorized deductions totaling about $1,442 to her checking account.
Aggravated menacing: A Southwoods Drive woman found threatening messages on her cell phone.
Breaking and entering: Someone cut a padlock to a vacant home in the 5100 block of South Avenue and stole copper piping from the basement.

Theft: A Southwestern Run Drive woman reported her driver’s license, five credit cards and two insurance cards missing.
Harassment: An employee with a Youngstown-Poland Road store reported getting threatening and vulgar calls.
Burglary: To a residence in the 1800 block of Massachusetts Avenue, from which a firearm, a cable box and silver coins were taken.
Theft: A woman at a Doral Drive store reported her wallet stolen.
Identity theft: A Melrose Avenue woman noticed her personal information had been used to make a $206 charge without consent.
Theft: An $80 stereo faceplate was stolen in the 400 block of Melrose Avenue.
Breaking and entering: Someone pried open a shed door in the 300 block of Melrose Avenue before removing a leaf blower and a large aluminum tool.

Drugs: Authorities received a report that a man was selling marijuana and other drugs from a metal box in the lobby of a Boardman-Poland Road business.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into the clubhouse of a West Boulevard apartment complex and damaged lighting fixtures and two toilets.

Drug paraphernalia: Police responded to a vehicle on fire near Sheban Drive and charged 34-year-old Bradley J. Dubas, 7638 West Blvd., Boardman, after saying they found a suspected crack pipe in a cruiser where he had been sitting.

Theft: One package each of undergarments and mascara was stolen from Dollar General, 271 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Burglary: To a residence in the 4800 block of Erie Street via a rear door. An Xbox 360 game console and three TVs were stolen.
Theft: A food-stamp card was stolen in the 400 block of Annawan Lane.
Theft: A woman rented but failed to return 15 chairs to Party Max, 445 Boardman-Poland Road.
Breaking and entering: Someone entered The Tire Pad, 4730 Southern Blvd., through a rear garage window and took an undisclosed sum of money.
Theft: A woman reported her wallet stolen at a Boardman-Poland Road store.
Burglary: The front door to an apartment in the 4100 block of Hillman Way was forced open.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a vacant residence in the 200 block of Erskine Avenue by unknown means and removed copper piping.
Burglary: Police charged 21-year-old Dominic J. Suraci, 7406 E. Huntington Drive, Boardman, with burglary after a break-in at a nearby apartment, from which a 48-inch flat-screen TV, a laptop computer, a digital camera and a wristwatch were stolen. Suraci also faced charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug-abuse instruments.
Theft: Three Youngstown girls, one age 16 and two age 17, were accused of stealing nine articles of clothing from the J.C. Penney store in Southern Park Mall and released to the custody of their parents.
Assault: A 16-year-old Boardman boy was charged with assault on a teacher, a fifth-degree felony, after a teacher at Boardman High School, 7777 Glenwood Ave., alleged the boy had punched him several times in the back of the head as the accuser tried to break up a fight.

Theft: A worker for a Lake Park Road business reported never having received a small package, a bank statement and a business check.
Fraud: A Bristlewood Drive woman told authorities a man in Jamaica called numerous times claiming she had won an international lottery, but first needed to send $150 to get the prize.
Theft: A validation sticker was removed from a vehicle in the 300 block of Melrose Avenue.
Assault: A woman told police another woman pushed and punched the accuser in front of the victim’s Beechwood Drive home.
Theft: Amy N. Hambrick, 22, of 7165 Locust Ave., Boardman, was accused of stealing three clothing items from Macy’s in Southern Park Mall.
Criminal damaging: A key was used to cause extensive damage to a vehicle’s finish in the 300 block of Tudor Lane.
Dec. 4
Burglary: Occurred in the 4300 block of Chester Drive after someone kicked in the apartment’s front door. Loose change and medication were taken.
Attempted fraud: A Paulin Drive woman told officers a man claiming to be from a Social Security office called to inquire to which bank her Social Security checks are sent.
Theft: Stacey E. Shopinsky, 30, of 3868 Robert Frost Drive, Austintown, was charged with stealing $23 worth of clothing from the J.C. Penney store.
Harassment: An elderly South Schenley Drive woman reported getting numerous unwanted calls.
Assaults: Three people gave conflicting versions of a fight they were in while in line at a Southern Park Mall store.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle’s passenger-side window sustained $200 in damage at Southern Park Mall.
Aggravated menacing: A Beechwood Drive man reported a former tenant threatened to shoot him.
Truck theft: A 2002 Ford F-150 truck was stolen in the 100 block of Overhill Drive.
Auto theft: A 2003 Honda Civic was stolen at an East Midlothian Boulevard business.

Theft: Amanda L. Holmes and Stephanie R. Rodriguez, both 20 and of 2903 Rush Blvd., Youngstown, were accused of stealing $60.50 worth of clothing from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Harassment: A Sheridan Road man said someone called and threatened to beat him up.
Theft: A woman left Toys “R” Us, 317 Boardman-Poland Road, without paying for a shopping cart filled with merchandise.
Theft: A $300 lawn mower was stolen in the 300 block of Shields Road.
Theft: Four packages of undergarments were removed from Dollar General, 5953 South Ave.
Counterfeit: A phony $50 bill was passed at Walmart.
Criminal damaging: A car in the 4600 block of Southern Boulevard was found with a broken window.
Theft: Brittany T. Montgomery, 20, of 413 W. Earle Ave., Youngstown, was charged in the theft of $145 worth of men’s clothing from Macy’s. She was released on a summons.
Dec. 9
Theft: A Campbell woman discovered the theft of $4,700 she had set aside for her mother’s care. The mother is in a West Boulevard health-care facility.
Assault: Jay R. Weston, 24, of 10738 Main St., New Middletown, was charged after his former girlfriend alleged that while in the 300 block of Boardman-Canfield Road, Weston placed her in a choke hold, punched her face and struck her wrist after she refused to give him a ride.
Possible theft: A man reported his wallet lost or stolen at a Boardman-Canfield Road store.
Theft: Vicki L. Porrase-Gallagher, 53, of 160 Longview Circle, North Lima, was charged with stealing $311 worth of clothing from Macy’s in the Southern Park Mall.
Arrest: Authorities picked up 29-year-old Tasha E. Floyd, 115 Shields Road, Boardman, who was wanted on two warrants, including a felony theft charge.
Theft: Tiara LaFlore, 18, of 81 Elliot Lane, Youngstown, was charged in the theft of two pairs of socks from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Assault: A Shadyside Drive woman alleged an irate bus driver picked up and pushed her 10-year-old son back into his seat as the boy was en route from school. He was not injured.

Theft: Theresa Duley, 31, of 1073 Compass West Drive, Austintown, faced a felony count after $510 worth of clothing and perfume was stolen from Sears. Duley also was wanted on a probation-violation charge.
Identity fraud: A Havenwood Drive man noticed an unauthorized $130 charge to his credit card.
Breaking and entering: A hedge trimmer and a battery charger were removed from a shed someone had entered in the 900 block of Pearson Circle.
Harassment: A Boardman Boulevard woman said her former husband has been making such calls for about one week.
Identity fraud: A Willow Drive man told police he received a notice stating his credit-card application was denied, though he had never applied.
Bad checks: Two checks, one each for $300 and $860, were written at Midwest Money Center Inc., 5021 Market St., on a closed account.
Theft: Miscellaneous hygiene products were stolen from Deals Nothing Over a Dollar, 223 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Assault: A Trenholm Road man accused a family member of slapping his face and twisting his right arm.
Auto theft: A 2006 Pontiac G6 vehicle was stolen in the 80 block of Prestwick Drive.

Theft: A 15-year-old New Brighton, Pa., girl was charged in the theft of $54 worth of jewelry from Macy’s.
Theft: A woman made reservations for a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese’s, 521 Boardman-Poland Road, then failed to pay the $152 bill.
Harassment: A worker for a Southern Park Mall store reported receiving a series of such calls.
Criminal mischief: Three 15-year-old Boardman boys were cited on charges of criminal mischief and violating curfew after police responded to debris in the middle of Hitchcock Road. The teens admitted having placed two lawn chairs and a metal antique wheel in the road, a report showed.
Menacing: An employee with a Market Street health-care center told police a resident’s family member threatened to harm three co-workers if they didn’t take proper care of the resident.
Arrest: Officers responded to a disoriented person at a Market Street business, then charged 31-year-old Salimah Z. Elamin, 748 Winona Drive, Youngstown, with disorderly conduct, obstructing official business and resisting arrest when, they said, she became combative with police.
Criminal trespassing: A Carter Circle woman discovered her vehicle’s sunroof was open.
Theft: Tina M. Gailey, 46, of 47145 Riffle Road, Rogers, was charged in the theft of four purses from Macy’s.
Assault: An Applecrest Court woman reported another female got out of a vehicle and punched the accuser’s face, causing a bloody nose. The woman sought medical treatment.
Criminal mischief: Two Sequoya Drive lawns sustained minor damage.
Theft: A dealer’s license plate was removed from a car in the 800 block of Afton Avenue.
Theft: Police arrested Ashonta Gore, 23, of 1967 Southwest Blvd., Desire Pruitt, 25, of 2809 Randolph St. NW, and 19-year-old Adrienna M. Jackson, 1180 Roberts Ave. NW. The three Warren women faced theft-related charges after merchandise was stolen from Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road, and Gore also was wanted on several misdemeanor warrants.
Aggravated menacing: A Wilda Avenue woman alleged her former boyfriend threatened to harm her and drive his vehicle into her residence.
Counterfeit: A Cook Avenue man told police he received in the mail a fake $2,596 check.
Theft: A man stole shirts, socks and undergarments from Dollar General, 271 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Menacing: A man backing out of his Lynn Mar Avenue driveway said a neighbor threatened him.
Domestic violence: Ivan D. West, 25, of 164 Stadium Drive, Boardman, was charged with the crime after his fiancee alleged West had pushed her and closed a door on her foot during an argument.

Criminal damaging: Three decorative metal Christmas trees were damaged in the 7400 block of Jaguar Drive.
Theft: Officers charged 20-year-old Kirk E. Fisher II, 742 County Line Road, New Castle, Pa., with theft and carrying a concealed weapon after a $40 set of earphones was stolen from Macy’s. Fisher also had a folding knife and a set of brass knuckles, a report said.
Harassment: A woman and her daughter, of Sheridan Road, reported getting unwanted calls and text messages.
Criminal damaging: A light post was knocked down and damaged in the 300 block of Melbourne Avenue.
Menacing: A worker for a Boardman-Poland Road eatery reported her former boyfriend made roughly 100 unwanted calls in one day, then came to her place of employment.

Domestic violence: Police issued a warrant against a 41-year-old township man after a South Schenley Avenue woman alleged he had shoved and held her down, them pulled out some of the accuser’s hair during an argument.
Assault/damage: A man choked a woman at a Boardman-Poland Road business, then knocked off one of her vehicle’s mirrors.
Arrest: Authorities charged 18-year-old Kyle R. Bluhm, 9022 Oyster Road, North Benton, with public indecency after three people at the Southern Park Mall alleged Bluhm had exposed himself.
Auto theft: A 2001 Chevrolet Malibu was stolen in the 4000 block of Hudson Drive.
Theft: Two gold wristwatches, a bracelet and a pair of gold earrings were missing from LeRoy’sJewelers in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A woman reported her purse stolen at the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A Boardman-Poland Road store employee discovered her wallet missing from a locker.

Theft: Jessica M. Skelley, 22, of 411 Whipple Ave., Campbell, and Rhiannon L. Summerville, 28, of 1779 McCollum Road, Youngstown, were charged in the theft of a $12 pair of slippers from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive. Summerville also faced a criminal-trespassing count.
Theft: Mary E. Sutton, 68, of 351 Breaden Ave., Youngstown, faced a felony charge after $640 worth of clothing was stolen from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Ninety prescription pills and two credit cards were stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Afton Avenue.
Breaking and entering: Someone may have used a key to enter a vacant home in the 100 block of Alburn Drive, then removed copper piping from the basement.
Theft: A Southern Boulevard woman reported the theft of a credit card from her wallet.

Theft: A $300 amplifier was removed from a car in the 5300 block of Youngstown-Poland Road.
Attempted burglary: Three males reportedly tried to enter a residence in the 4500 block of Grover Drive.
Assault/criminal damaging: A man at an Aravesta Avenue residence told officers another visitor bent one of his fingers, then placed a large scratch on his vehicle’s quarter panel.
Menacing: A woman reported another female threatened her at a Doral Drive business.
Theft: A Terrace Drive man reported Viagra pills and $16 missing from his home.
Theft: A customer rented but failed to return a carpet-cleaning machine to Dollar General, 859 E. Midlothian Blvd.
Misuse of a credit card: A Rockland Drive man discovered a $152 fraudulent charge to his debit-card account.
Harassment: A former Southern Park Mall employee reported her estranged husband continually called her at work, resulting in her termination from one of the mall’s stores.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle’s driver’s-side mirror was damaged in the 40 block of McClurg Road.
Breaking and entering: Someone entered a vacant residence in the 100 block of Roche Way and stole a TV, a computer, a crib and other items.
Arrest: A traffic stop on Midlothian Boulevard resulted in the arrest of 51-year-old Michael D. Miller, 25 Market St., Youngstown, on a charge of obstructing official business. Miller got out of his car, then swore at and became belligerent with police, a report said.
Fraud: A Ferncliff Avenue man told authorities a caller claimed the man had six felony charges pending and would be arrested unless he sent $1,437 to someone in Buffalo, N.Y. The accuser contacted the Ohio Attorney General’s office and learned it was a scam.
Theft: Two women stole meat and other food from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Theft: A flat-screen TV was taken from a concourse area in the Southern Park Mall.

Theft: A woman left the Southern Park Mall and discovered numerous pieces of jewelry missing from her car.
Theft: Police booked 18-year-old Laura A. Daviduk, 3334 Burkey Road, Austintown, after $40 worth of jewelry was stolen from Walmart. She was released on a summons.
Theft: A 17-year-old Youngstown girl was accused in the theft of a jewelry set from Walmart and released to the custody of an uncle.
Misuse of a credit card: A Sigle Lane man noticed an unauthorized $516 transaction had been made.
Theft: Roughly $872 worth of DVDs was stolen from Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 381 Boardman-Poland Road.
Arrest: Officers pulled over a vehicle on Southern Boulevard and took into custody 50-year-old Robert L. Cayson Jr., 1425 Seventh St. SW, Warren, who was wanted on a bench warrant accusing him of failing to appear to pay various fines and costs.
Harassment: A Lockwood Boulevard woman reported her former husband sent unwanted and obscene text messages.
Theft: Police picked up Edward C. Wheeler, 23, of 11140 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, New Middletown, who was accused in the theft of a DVD from Walmart.

Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A Youngstown woman said her brother took her car to the Southern Park Mall without permission.
Theft of services: An employee with Rondinelli Tuxedo, 207 Boardman-Canfield Road, told police a man has been illegally dumping garbage in the business’s trash bin for about a year.
Theft: Two 12-inch subwoofers and a 250-watt amplifier were removed from a vehicle in the 6800 block of Southern Boulevard.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle in the 200 block of Boardman-Canfield Road was found with scratches to its paint.
Theft: Three gold rings and another ring were stolen from a home in the 8000 block of Spartan Drive.
Theft: Fifty-two toys were stolen from Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road, costing the store $965.
Recovered property: An Erie Street woman found her 2001 Pontiac vehicle after having reported it stolen.
Identity fraud: A Green Glen Drive woman reported a caller from Georgia tried to fraudulently obtain her personal information, including Social Security number and date of birth.
Assault: A township woman alleged her boyfriend, of Hillman Way, tossed the accuser and punched her face during an argument.
Theft: Authorities on Boardman-Canfield Road took custody of 42-year-old AngelicHiggins, 4423 New Road, Austintown, who was wanted on a felony theft charge as well as on two misdemeanor warrants.
Theft: Frances V. Corsale, 28, of 282 Tenth St., Campbell, faced a felony charge after an official with the JCPenney store in the Southern Park Mall said she caught an employee ringing up and deleting more than $1,000 worth of sales. Corsale admitted to the crime, police said.
Auto theft: A 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix was stolen in the 4800 block of Erie Street.

Arrest: Ethan P. Love, 19, of 189 Vernia St., East Liverpool, was given a summons charging him with disorderly conduct while intoxicated. Love tried to leave St. Elizabeth Health Center’s Boardman Campus against medical advice, argued with hospital police and caused a scene, a report showed.
Attempted theft: Someone tried to enter a pickup truck at a Doral Drive business and damaged its driver’s-side door.
Theft: Terry L. Carter, 50, of 435 W. Ravenwood Ave., Youngstown, was charged in the theft of children’s clothing from Dollar General, 271 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Arrest: Pierre M. Callion, 26, of 406 W. Glenaven Ave., Youngstown, was taken into custody after police pulled him over on Southern Boulevard. Callion was wanted on three charges of failure to appear in court.
Domestic violence: Police charged 38-year-old David N. McComb, 7397 Bonnie Place, Boardman, with the crime after his girlfriend alleged McComb had struck her face during an argument about a Christmas tree.
Theft: A man stole $60 worth of trading cards from Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 381 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A customer rented but failed to return a $225 kerosene heater to Rental Corral Inc., 4627 Market St.
Fraud: An Indianola Road man told police he sent $23,000 to buy gold and silver from a Woodland Hills, Calif., company, yet never received his shipment.

Attempted burglary: A Youngstown-Poland Road man found pry marks on his garage door, presumably after someone had tried to break in.
Theft: A $500 laptop computer was stolen from a home in the 600 block of Chestnut Lane.
Theft: Cynthia S. Northcott, 33, of 7137 Trenholm Road, Boardman, was arraigned on a felony count after more than $1,168 worth of toys and other items had been stolen from Toys “R” Us, 317 Boardman-Poland Road.

Theft: Michael Callihan, 40, of 1907 Cardigan St., Niles, was charged with stealing a shirt and a pair of jeans from Macy’s in the Southern Park Mall. He also was wanted on two warrants, including a felony parole-violation charge.
Theft: Officers booked 40-year-old Shannon R. Hooks, 321 E. Garfield Ave., New Castle, Pa., who was accused of stealing two shirts from Macy’s.
Theft: Lisa A. Winwood, 30, of 506 Park Ave., Girard, faced charges of theft and drug abuse after a $12 wallet was stolen from Macy’s. She also had seven pills, police said.
Domestic violence: Alec J.R. Neapolitan, 18, of 124 S. Cadillac Drive, Boardman, was charged with domestic violence and obstructing official business after police said Neapolitan admitted having punched his father’s stomach and face during an argument. The younger Neapolitan then fled from the residence on foot, a report said.
Theft: A driver’s license, a checkbook, a wallet and money were removed from a vehicle in the 6300 block of South Avenue.
Theft: A woman reported the theft of a set of keys at a Market Street store.

Drugs: A traffic stop on Wildwood Drive led to the arrest of 55-year-old Gary L. McKee, 429 Wildwood, on charges of driving under suspension and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. McKee, who was under five license suspensions, also had a bag of suspected marijuana, police said.
Theft: Harriet T. Perantinides, 32, of 278 Park Drive, Campbell, was charged, accused of switching price tags on binders and stealing diet pills from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Theft: Trevor T. Ishee, 18, of Norwalk, Ohio, and a 17-year-old Warren girl were charged in the theft of eight pairs of earrings from Macy’s.
Criminal damaging: A storm-door window was shattered in the 100 block of Erskine Avenue.

Assault: A South Avenue man sought medical treatment for injuries he sustained after reporting another man had struck his face 10 times and kicked him at the accuser‘s residence.
Identity theft: A Pioneer Drive woman discovered her personal information had been used to obtain several services.
Auto theft: A 1987 Buick Century was stolen in the 100 block of Lemans Drive.
Theft: Two $1,500 gold rings and money were stolen from a home in the 6100 block of Northlawn Avenue.
Arrest: Police working a security detail at a Glenwood Avenue church charged 18-year-old Michael J. Rossi, 5333 Shadow Creek Drive, Boardman, with underage possession of alcohol.
Assault: Jarrod J. Taybus, 29, of 4525 Euclid Blvd., Boardman, surrendered to authorities. He was accused of punching a man who pulled into a driveway on Grover Drive.
