Pa. shooting victim charged with having drugs
ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) — A man is facing drug possession charges after he was shot in an apparent home invasion.
Police in Allentown say 36-year-old Craig Odom had 25 small packets of cocaine in his pocket when they responded to a reported shooting inside his apartment Wednesday night.
Capt. Daryl Hendricks said that Odom told police two men burst in and shot him in the leg, then fled. Odom was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Odom was arraigned at the hospital on charges including possession with intent to deliver. He is being held on $25,000 bail.
No arrests have been made in the shooting.
