No. 1 Duke 85, UAB 64

Nolan Smith scored a career-high 33 points to help Duke. Kyle Singler added 15 points and scored his 2,000th career point during a game-opening 26-4 run that took the drama out of this one early. The Blue Devils (14-0) never let the Blazers (10-3) closer than 14 points the rest of the way. Duke has won 24 straight games dating back to last season’s run to the Atlantic Coast Conference and NCAA tournament championships, and 32 of 33 overall.

No. 3 Kansas 99, UMKC 52

LAWRENCE, KAN.

Josh Selby had 16 points to lead six Kansas players in double figures. Kansas (14-0) scored the game’s first 15 points and extended the nation’s longest homecourt winning streak to 68 games. Tyshawn Taylor added 15 points for Kansas. Travis Releford and Elijah Johnson had 13 each for the Jayhawks.

No. 6 San Diego St. 66, TCU 53

FORT WORTH, TEXAS

Malcolm Thomas had 18 points and 10 rebounds, Kawhi Leonard added 14 points and 11 rebounds and the duo also keyed a game-turning run after halftime as San Diego State stretched its season-opening winning streak to 16.

No. 9 Missouri 98, North Alabama 58

COLUMBIA, MO.

Kim English scored a season-high 20 points in the first half alone to lead seven players in double figures as Missouri romped over Division II North Alabama. The junior guard connected on six of seven 3-pointers in the first half for Missouri (14-1), off to its best start in 21 years. Justin Safford and Laurence Bowers added 16 points each for the Tigers.

No. 19 Central Florida 65, Marshall 58

ORLANDO, FLA.

Marcus Jordan had 26 points and five assists and Central Florida remained unbeaten. Jordan, son of NBA star Michael Jordan, had 18 points in second half when UCF used a 10-0 run to take control.

Tennessee 104, No. 21 Memphis 84

KNOXVILLE, TENN.

Tobias Harris scored 17 points and grabbed 15 rebounds and Tennessee got its third win over a ranked opponent this season. Tennessee (10-4) came out hot, hitting three early 3-pointers.
