The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony on Sept. 18 as Lisa Naomi Palazzo, daughter of Dennis and Rosalie Palazzo of Poland, and Walter Andrew Kustra, son of Walter and Joella Kustra of New Castle, Pa., were united in marriage at St. Charles Borromeo Church.

The Rev. Phillip Rogers officiated at the wedding, and the couple greeted guests during a reception at the New Englander in New Castle. After a wedding trip to Naples, Fla., they live in New Castle.

The bride wore an ivory tissue taffeta A-line gown with a corset style back and an asymmetrical dropped waistline accented with pearls and crystals.

Chianti red gowns were worn by the honor attendants, the bride’s cousin April Craft and her sister Nicole Palazzo, and the bridesmaids Jamie Palazzo, the bride’s sister; Cori Lynn Palazzo, her niece; Carrie Palazzo, her sister-in-law, and Pamela Angelilli, her cousin. Flower girls were Gabriella and Gianna Howe, cousins of the bride.

Victor Kustra was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Ryan Henderson, Christopher Flynn, Bobby Preston, Jake McPhatter and James Patterson. Ring bearer was the bride’s cousin Jeffrey Howe. Serving as ushers were Dennis Palazzo Jr. and James Palazzo, brothers of the bride.

Mrs. Kustra graduated from Kent State University, East Liverpool campus, with an associate degree in physical therapy assisting. She is a physical therapy assistant at Jameson Rehabilitation Center in New Castle.

Mr. Kustra, an Internet sales manager with Preston Honda in New Castle, attended Youngstown State University.
