2 packages explode in Maryland state buildings

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Maryland officials say two packages have exploded in two government buildings in the state capital.

Maryland state police say there were no serious injuries. The explosions occurred this afternoon at the Jeffrey Building on Francis Street in downtown Annapolis and another at the Maryland Department of Transportation building in Hanover.
