FOOD SALES AND DINNERS

THURSDAY

Col. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals will include meatballs, salad, bread and butter and coffee. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $6.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

ITAM Post 3 will sell takeout pasta lunches from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Thursday at the ITAM Banquet Center, 115 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and the cost is $6.

Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road, Poland, will have takeout dinners of baked stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and green beans available from 4 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out). The cost is $6. No need to preorder or get out of the car.

Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, will host a drive-through and pickup stuffed chicken breast dinner from 4 p.m. until sold out. Meals include mashed potatoes, green beans and a brownie. The cost is $7. No reservations are required.

FRIDAY

Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown. will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 after 6 p.m. Thursday or from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $5 per bag of one dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins are welcome. Patrons are asked to use the side entrance.

St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi for $4.50 a dozen. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at 330-755-1316, and orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available.

St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will bake Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at 330-788-0025 between 9-11:30 a.m. only. Pickup will be until 12:30 p.m. Price is $6 for regular or Brier Hill pizza, and $5 for white pizza.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

Tod Avenue United Methodist Church, 155 Tod Ave. NW, Warren, will sell fish dinners from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. The meal includes deep-fried ocean perch, potatoes, coleslaw, bread, homemade desserts and beverage. The cost is $9 for adults and $3 for children. Meat loaf is also available.

VFW POST 9571 on Ellsworth Road in Ellsworth will have an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. Chicken fingers or shrimp will be available. The cost is $7.50 for adults and $7 for seniors.

SATURDAY

New Waterford United Methodist Church, 46925 S. State St. (State Route 46), New Waterford, will serve “pancakes plus” breakfasts from 8 to 11 a.m. for donations only. Included on the menu will be french toast, sausage, bacon, eggs, fruit, juice and coffee. For more information, call 330-457-7436.

Vienna United Methodist Church, 4265 Warren-Sharon Road, will serve Swiss steak dinners from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The menu will include mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, coleslaw, applesauce, bread and butter, homemade dessert and beverage. Takeout orders will be available. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 5 to 12 and free for those 4 and under.

SUNDAY

Damascus Volunteer Fire Department will host an all-you-can eat spaghetti dinner from noon to 5 p.m. at the old Goshen Elementary School, 14003 W. South Range Road, Salem. Tickets are $8 at the door for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Carryouts will be available. In addition, there will be information about joining the department, volunteer opportunities and nonemergency roles. Southington American Legion Post 751 will serve breakfasts of sausage and pancakes (all-you-can-eat pancakes), or biscuits and gravy, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the post, 3145 Warren-Burton Road, Southington. The donation is $5.50 for adults and $3 for children from 5 to 12. Those 4 and under eat free.

TUESDAY

Mahoning United Methodist Church, 2214 Mahoning Ave., will sell stuffed cabbage rolls for $1.50 each every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until sold out. To place an order call 330-799-5318 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Advance orders are appreciated. Walk-ins are welcome.

TAKING ORDERS

Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St., is taking orders for individual-serving-sized baked ham loaves at 330-758-4527. The cost is $1.25 each, and pickup will be between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Jan. 18.
