Tina Gentile marks birthday

Tina (Perry) Gentile is celebrating her 90th birthday today at Grace Woods Senior Living, where she is a resident.

Her parents are the late Julia and Alphonso Perry, and her siblings are Margaret Szabo and the late Felix Perry.

She married Dominic Gentile on Nov. 4, 1950, in Youngstown. He is deceased.

Their children are Sue Gentile of Youngstown and Kathy Perez of Gilbert, Ariz. The family includes two grandchildren.

A graduate of East High School, she is a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Youngstown.

Women’s Connection to focus on apples

Warren Women’s Connection is inviting members and their friends to a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren.

The theme will be “An Apple A Day,” and the featured speaker will be Debbie Pifer of Whitehouse Fruit Farm.
