Hunters stumble on body of missing western Pa. man

NATRONA HEIGHTS, Pa. (AP) — Two hunters stumbled upon the body of a western Pennsylvania man who had been missing for several days.

The hunters discovered the body of 49-year-old Howard Matthew Witucki in Harrison Township, Allegheny County, on Monday afternoon. Witucki had been missing since Thursday.

Witucki’s wife tells WTAE-TV that her husband’s health had recently deteriorated after he suffered a stroke about 17 years ago.

Police are trying to determine how Witucki ended up in the woods. The Allegheny County coroner is scheduled to perform an autopsy.
