Women’s league hosts St. Patrick’s Day party

The Boardman-Poland Junior Women’s League will host its second annual “St. Patrick’s Day party” March 12 at The Embassy Banquet Center, 5030 Youngstown-Poland Road, from 6:30 to 11 p.m.

The $25 ticket includes a buffet, dancing with “DJ Jim Loboy,” Chinese auction, silent auction and a 50/50 raffle.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Difference Makers.

The Difference Makers is an organization that assists local contractors on various projects by supplying the materials for projects that help kids (such as handicapped ramps, etc.).

They help many children by supplying winter coats, hats, gloves, socks, shoes and backpacks. They supply funding and services to the food bank in Campbell.
