Poland diver 24th at state meet
Poland sophomore Celia Melillo scored 118.30 points to finish 24th at Wednesday’s Division II state diving meet at Branin Natatorium.
Melillo’s score was not good enough to advance her to the semifinals. She was the only area diver to qualify for state competition after finishing fourth at last week’s district meet.
Gahanna Columbus Academy’s Natalie Ritter won the state title.
