XAVIER UNIVERSITY, Cincinnati

Angeline Rich of Canfield will be presenting her research “Sport Motivation: Do competitive levels influence motivation levels in athletes?” at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research from March 31-April 2 at Ithaca College in New York. She is a senior psychology major. Forty Xavier students had work selected to be presented. Students are able to view other exemplary research and gain experience presenting their work. Rich is a 2007 graduate of Ursuline High School.

BALDWIN-WALLACE COLLEGE, Berea

Macy Marra of Salem is featured in the Senior Art Exhibit presented by Baldwin-Wallace College’s Fawick Gallery through March 25. The exhibit, which is free, features the work of 11 Baldwin-Wallace senior art majors. An artist’s reception will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. The gallery is open from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and by appointment. The Fawick Gallery is in the Kleist Center for Art and Drama, 95 East Bagley Road, Berea. Marra, daughter of Frank and Karen Marra is a senior at Baldwin-Wallace studying art education. She is a 2007 graduate of Western Reserve High School.

MARYMOUNT UNIVERSITY, Arlington, Va.

Alyssa Monroe of Youngstown is among 110 Marymount University undergraduate students who have been selected as national outstanding campus leaders and are included in the 2010 edition of Who’s Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Monroe is majoring in nursing. Campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory have selected these students based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. They join a group of students from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign countries.
