On a pleasant note, recital will battle midwinter blahs

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Music Teachers Association will host its Midwinter Honors Recital at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Butler North, Wick Avenue.

Students performing will be Mario Mavar, Michael Deak, Andrew Dunlap, Brandon Sharp, Jocelyn Hykes, Mariah Roberts, Alana Landers, Lillie M. Bovard-Jones, Julianna Tite, Michael Nichols, Kevin Min, Jesse Barovich, Ariana Ellis, T.J. Saekho, Olivia Roy, Eric Yovanovich and Eva Laino.

Teachers represented will be Fanny DiDomenico, Diane Yazvac, Carolyn Munro, Rick Barber, Sean Baran, Susan Owens, Corinne Morini, Audrey Rhinehart, Delores Hansley, Dan Barber, Lauren Johnson and Tom Miller. Rhinehart is president, and Yazvac is vice president.

Accompanists are Alyssa Tite, Barber, Gretchen Kuhns, Morini and Baran. YMTA Scholarship winner Patrick McLaughlin also will perform. Lauren Johnson is the recital host.
