Irish Comalya 2011 will be fundraiser

Area residents are invited to get a jump start on St. Patrick’s Day celebrations by attending Catholic Charities Irish Comalya 2011 from 6 to 10 p.m. March 12 at St. Michael Parish Family Life Center, 300 N. Broad St. Admission tickets are $20 each.

The event, for those 21 and older, will feature live performances by County Mayo, traditional Celtic music by Colleen McNally-Harris and Harper Kirk, a hors d’oeuvres buffet, a cash bar offering Irish beer and stout, games, prizes and raffles.

Tickets will be sold for $20 each or six for $100 for a Luck of the Irish dream vacation raffle. The prize is a $3,000 travel voucher to be used anywhere in the world. Winners need not be present for the 9:30 p.m. drawing.
