Daffodil Days campaign is a fundraiser for ACS

Local businesses across the Northeast Ohio region are being encouraged to place orders by March 4 for daffodils being sold by the American Cancer Society.

Funds raised during the corporate campaign will enable the ACS to save more lives and create more birthdays by helping people stay well and helping people get well by finding cures and fighting back.

The daffodil, one of the first flowers of spring, is the perennial ACS symbol of hope for cancer patients throughout the community.

Businesses can help by ordering any of the following Daffodil Days specials:

Bear and a Bunch — $25 donation, a Liv N. Hope bear created especially for the 2011 campaign for the Boyds by Enesco and 10 freshly cut daffodils.

Bunch of 10 Daffodils — $10, a bouquet of 10 freshly cut daffodils.

Vintage Vase and a Bunch — $15, a vase randomly selected from a collection of stylish and colorful Daffodil Days vases and a bunch of daffodils, while supplies last.

Potted Mini Daffodils — $12, a package of 3 to 4 dainty daffodil bulbs packaged in a foil-wrapped 4-inch pot of vibrant dainty daffodils.

Project Care — $25, a Boyds bear to comfort a child, delivered anonymously.
