Theater to present ‘Pirates’

SHARPSVILLE, PA.

Sharpsville Area Community Theatre will present the Gilbert & Sullivan comic opera “The Pirates of Penzance” on March 4, 5, 6, 18 and 19 at the Pierce Opera House, 100 N. Mercer Ave.

Friday and Saturday performances will be at 7:30 p.m. and the March 6 Sunday matinee will be at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Mehler Insurance, Pompa’s Beauty Salon, Sharpsville Floral, Sharpsville Borough Building and Muscarella’s, or by calling 724-854-0052.

The cast includes Tom Roberts, Tina Grieg, Tom Perman, Mark Nelson, Stephanie Wilson, James Kerr, Ronn Grantz, Susan Woge and Jen Stephenson. Donald Struck is the director.

The Sharpsville Area Historical Society is co-sponsoring the production along with Sharpsville Area Community Theatre.
