Montego Bay, Jamaica, was the honeymoon destination of Chad E. Zubal and his bride, the former Theresa M. Farrant, following their Oct. 16 wedding at Faith Community Church.
The Rev. Mary Jo Berry officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, and the couple were honored during a reception at Mount Carmel Church hall.
Gary and Betsy Farrant of Youngstown are parents of the bride, and the groom’s parents are Richard and Lynda Molnar of North Jackson and Jack and Beth Zubal of Austintown.
Burnt-orange gowns were worn by Tammy Guinther, the bride’s sister and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Samantha Pavlik; Kelly McDade; Tonya DiMuzio; Danielle Hilton, the groom’s sister; Donna Fero; Amanda Updegraff; and Kayla Farrant, the bride’s cousin. Junior bridesmaid was Raeghan Hilton, a niece of the groom, and flower girls were Sydney Pavlik and Madelynn McDade.
Serving as best man was Joseph Moran, and groomsmen were Pat Campbell; Anthony Farrant, a brother of the bride; Matt Sulenski; Gary Hilton, the groom’s brother-in-law; John Martin; and Tony Davis. Ring bearers were Connor Hilton, the groom’s nephew; Max Guinther, a nephew of the bride; and Kelly Pavlik Jr.
Mrs. Zubal received an associate degree in applied science from Youngstown State University and is pursuing a degree in nursing at Kent State University. She is a paramedic with Rural Metro Ambulance in Youngstown.
Mr. Zubal, a police officer with the city of Youngstown, graduated from YSU with an associate degree in criminal justice.
The couple live in North Jackson.
