St. David’s Day banquet planned

The Niles Gymanfa Ganu Association will have its annual St. David’s Day Banquet on Feb. 27 at the McKinley Memorial Auditorium, 40 Main St. (Route 46).

There will be a social hour at 2:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 3, and harpist Allison Milller, fiddler Laua Miller and puppeteer the Rev. Bob Dayton will perform Welsh folk tales for children of all ages.

Geraint Wilkes will be master of ceremonies.

Donations are $16 for Swiss steak; $17 for chicken breast stuffed with Brie and apples; $19 for lamb shank; and $8 for a child’s dinner of chicken tenders.

Dinners include leek soup, salad, potatoes or rice, vegetable, rolls, dessert and coffee or tea. Reservations can be obtained from Nelson Llewellyn, 5161 Calla Ave., Warren, OH 44483, or call 330-847-9892 no later than Tuesday.
