SENIOR CITIZENS | Meetings, activities announced


Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet at noon Tuesday at St. Mark’s Fellowship Hall on Loganway. Lou Pizzuto will preside, and Gloria Wielbruda and Roberta Shick will give reports. Luncheon hostesses are Wielbruda and Shick. To report illnesses, call Connie DiPiero at 330-788-2340.

The Girard OldTimers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Lamancusa Restaurant, Trumbull Road.

Holy Family Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Hope Hall at the Holy Family Center. Use the Youth Center entrance. Jennie Nethers will preside, and there will be cards, bingo and a 50-50 raffle. Sandwiches and snacks will be served. Hostesses will be Stella Zabrasky and Helen Liana. New members are welcome. Report illness or death to Nancy Nappy at 330-757-2823. Reminder: Dues will be collected at the March meeting.

Holy Name Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. Feb. 27 in Founders Hall for raffles, birthday prizes, cards and bingo. Hostesses will be Dorothy Losasso, Ann Lessick and Rose Mary Cervone. New members are welcome. No affiliation with the church is required for participation.

Liberty Friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty Presbyterian Church for fellowship, cards and dominoes. Take a sack lunch. Coffee will be provided. All are welcome.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Douglas Martin will give the devotions. There will be a pizza party at noon. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. Packard Electric and Delphi Packard Local 717 Retirees will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Local 717 Union Hall in Warren Commerce Park, 2950 Sferra Ave. Members are asked to take a labeled covered dish and table service. This meeting is the last to turn in free membership coupons that were won at the Christmas party. Membership can also be renewed with an annual $5 fee.

REAC 3298 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at the aerie in Austintown. Betty Evansky and Donna Joseph will serve as hostesses.

Sts. Peter and Paul Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ukrainian Center with Ann Smith presiding. Pat Hoffman and Laura Dulay will give reports, and lunch will be served by Marge Schaldone, Karen Caca, Angie Revetti and June Kausitis. Dues of $7 are being collected.
