Junior Taylor Williams scored 25 points with 10 rebounds, six blocks, five steals and four rebounds — all team highs — to lead Howland (20-1), which led 19-2 after one quarter of the sectional semifinal. Erika Nites and Olivia Nicholas each added 10 for the Tigers, who will meet Maple Heights on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Janiva May had nine points for Hay (4-17).

Geneva 46, Lakeview 31
ANDOVER
Ali Gagne scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds but Lakeview (10-11) couldn’t overcome a poor shooting night at Pymatuning Valley High. The Bulldogs made just 13 of 40 from the field and 5 of 16 from the line. Audra Puckerin scored 11 to lead a balanced effort for Geneva (11-10).

MINERAL RIDGE
Crystal Richards scored 11 points and Emily Zehentbauer and Sierra Parks each added 10 for United (17-4), which rolled up a 34-14 halftime lead at Mineral Ridge High. The Eagles will meet Waterloo in a sectional final Thursday at 7:30 p.m. For LaBrae (12-9), Ashlee Stubbs scored 13.
Waterloo 69, Girard 31
MINERAL RIDGE
Abbe Robb scored 19 points, Chelsea Watson had 14 points and Jamie Willis 13 for Waterloo, which outscored Girard 18-2 in the second quarter to take control. Mirandy Boyle and Desiree DeFrank each scored six for the Indians (9-11).

HUBBARD
Hannah Suttles scored all four of her points in overtime and Anna Nobbs made 3 of 4 from the line to help Mathews (2-19) win a sectional semifinal at Hubbard High School. Jacki Rhine had 11 points while Nobbs and Dana Omerzo each had nine for the Mustangs, who play Warren JFK on Wednesday. Caylin Hayes scored 25 for YCS (5-16), including the Eagles’ only two points in overtime.

Chelsea Caudill scored 12 points and Marissa Leon 10 to lead the Rebels (14-7). For the Rockets (6-15), Allison Bell and Taylor Snyder each scored nine points.

Mikayla Tipton led the Tigers (10-11) with 12 points. For the Blue Devils (9-12), Taylor Stanley led with 16 points and Jamie Stellmar’s 15 points included three 3-pointers.

Rashid Gaston scored 21, Craig McFerrin had 15 and Tre’ Brown 14 to lead Warren Harding (15-4), which rolled up a 50-22 halftime lead. Danny Reese scored 25 to lead the Cardinals (9-10), while Doug Caputo had 20.

Ryan Bush scored 24 points with five 3-pointers and Taylor Frederickson had 22 for the Quakers (7-11). Troy Hudson had 20 points and Nick Miller had 16 for the Beavers (0-20). Frederickson had 25 rebounds and seven assists while Brendan Webb also had seven assists.

EAST PALESTINE
Adam Robb scored 19 points with 11 rebounds and East Palestine (15-3, 11-2 Inter Tri-County League Tier One) survived a last-second miss in the second overtime period to win its fifth league crown in six years. Joel Gedeon had 13 points and six assists, Corey Wright had 12 points and 14 rebounds and Jake DiCello had 12 points for the Bulldogs, who can finish no worse than tied with Springfield for first. They can win it outright by beating Columbiana in the conference finale. Brian Orr and C.J. Collins each scored 18 for Crestview (15-5, 10-4), which missed a game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer. Tom Oliver had 13 and Carter Hill 11.
Sebring 72, Wellsville 69
WELLSVILLE
Aaron VanKirk netted four deep balls and finished with a game-high 29 points while Dakota Wagner added 15 more and eight rebounds for the Trojans (13-6, 8-6 ITCL Tier 2). Michael Johnson scored 24 points for Wellsville (12-6, 7-5 ITCL Tier 2).
