Guerrieri wins Bossone Senior Masters final
Dan Guerrieri defeated Joe Nuzzo, 257-226, in the final of the 2011 John Bossone Memorial Senior Masters.
In the stepladder finals, Nuzzo beat Tim Graham, 257-243, and Nuzzo eliminated Ron Zipay, 257-203.
Guerrieri qualified first with 3683, Graham was the second-highest qualifier with 3666, Ron Zipay rolled 3609 and Nuzzo advanced with 3607.
Non-stepladder qualifiers were: John Doughton Jr. (5th, 3586); Frank Florjancic (6th, 3564) and Bruce Curall and Gene “Pie” Rossi (tied for 7th, 3553).
Duane Beatty won the 60- to 69-year-old division with 3380, followed by Wesley Grzywna’s 3273 and Joe Hanna’s 3214.
Paul Scheetz had the highest 70-and-over total of 3215.

HIGH SCHOOL UPDATE
The All-American Conference championship for high school boys and girls will be Monday at Bell-Wick. Based on the results, AAC winners will be declared champs and an all-conference team will be chosen.
The Struthers boys and Hubbard girls went undefeated in AAC matches.
David Clayton of Hubbard bowled a 300 during a Valentine’s Day match against Struthers, a contest won by the Wildcats.
In addition to Clayton’s recent perfect game, some other honor-roll scores noted by ohiohighschoolbowling.com were by Struthers’ Corey Bayus (300), Struthers’ Joe DiLoreto (298)and Hubbard’s Samantha Dudley, Brittany Ferrara (269s) and Yvonne Force (266).
Also on the list was, among Federal League bowlers was Fitch’s Vickie Berquist with 279.

Bob Eisenbraun Jr. rolled 300-766 in Charlie’s Service/Bedford Trails at Holiday on Feb. 8.
From the new-look scoresheet submitted by Wednesday Men secretary Dan Montemarano at Holiday comes Frank Lovell’s 300 on Feb. 9.
Mark Fowler had 11-in-a-row 299 in Hively’s Sportsman at Amron on Valentine’s Day, while Jim Diver’s 11-in-a-row brought a 279 in Hively’s Doubles on Feb. 8.
Matt Clipse had 300-778 in St. Christine Men at Wedgewood on Feb. 10, Brian Neal’s 300-721 topped Monday Classic at West Side on Feb. 14, Joe Beeson Jr. and Brian Stanton both had 300s in Bell-Wick’s Kelley-Robb Classic on Feb. 17 and Keith Beers’ 299-715 paced Every Other Sunday Mix at McKinley on Feb. 13.
Beeson’s series was 771.
Virginia Buzzelli’s third-game 231 was almost equal to her first two toward a 493 series in Try Hards at Wedgewood on Feb. 9.
“She got off to a slow start, but came through in the end,” Try Hards secretary Carol Morrison said, although Dodi Baritell’s 498 was the night’s top set.
Open Frames won Knights of the Round Table’s second 3rd at Boardman with Donna Evans, Franki Fuller, Todd Buttermore and Ed Sekula.
Kustom Computer Solution won the roll-off for runner-up of Camelot Queens.
High Rollers of Danielle Worstell, Joe Sebald, Brian Wooley and Jeff Worstell won Mixed Bankers’ third quarter at Holiday, while, at Camelot, Dr. John’s Auto Clinic of Dave Bregar, Jeff Protain, John Morrison, Jack Kechler, Steve Sullivan, Gary Motley and Tony Corradetti Jr. was the third-quarter champion in Carrabba’s.
