Jan. 24

Harassment: A Grover Drive woman said her teenage daughter received several threatening online and text messages.

Theft: A $200 cell phone was stolen from a locker at a McClurg Road business.

Fraud: A woman presented two counterfeit prescriptions at Walgreens Pharmacy, 7295 Market St.

Theft: A man took at least $200 worth of videos from Sears.

Harassment: A Lockwood Boulevard woman reported receiving a series of such calls.

Jan. 27

Harassment: A Tod Avenue woman told police a man has sent and made such text messages and calls.

Misuse of a credit card: A Waggaman Circle woman noticed her debit-card number had been used online to make two unauthorized transactions.

Theft: A woman stole two bottles of perfume from The Buckle in the Southern Park Mall.

Theft: Three people reportedly stole a $4,500 diamond bracelet from LeRoy’s Jewelers in the Southern Park Mall.

Auto theft: David J. Triplett, 18, of 964 E. Indianola Ave., Youngstown, was charged with receiving stolen property after police stopped him on East Midlothian Boulevard. Triplett admitted having stolen his grandmother’s 2000 Chevrolet vehicle, a report said.

Domestic violence: Ruby I. Rich, 29, and 33-year-old Dandelion W. Rich, both of 8260 Southern Blvd., Boardman, were charged after each sister allegedly assaulted the other; Julie A. Exline, 35, of 4932 Grover Drive, Youngstown, was charged with assault when, police said, she punched one of the sisters. Ruby Rich also was wanted by Stark County authorities on a charge of trafficking in heroin.

Bad check: Sandra Williamson, 58, of 1996 Wolosyn Circle, Boardman, faced a felony charge of passing a bad check after her landlord alleged Williamson had deliberately stopped payment on a $525 rent check.

Theft: Police charged 61-year-old Mark E. Gill, 236 Laurel St., Youngstown, with stealing four electric breakers from Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd.

Jan. 28

Theft: Two people stole 30 gold earrings from Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road. The loss was estimated at $1,600.

Assault: A woman at a Boardman-Poland Road eatery told police another woman pushed her. The accuser was not injured, however.

Burglary: To a residence in the 400 block of Indianola Road, from which a $1,400 laptop computer and a garage-door opener were taken.

Arrest: Officers responded to a burglary call on Cedar Way and charged 41-year-old Tammy J. Delliquadri, 872 Cedar Way, with making a false alarm and obstructing official business after saying she had called 911 to report a break-in but provided false and inconsistent information.

Theft: A $300 ring was stolen in the 5000 block of Irma Avenue.

Attempted burglary: Someone cut and removed a rear-window screen in an effort to break into a residence in the 300 block of Meadowbrook Avenue, though no entry was made.

Vandalism: Five of a vehicle’s windows were broken in the 300 block of Mathews Road. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

Theft: Police charged Kendall L. Peterson, 19, of 605 W. Dewey Ave., Youngstown, with the theft of a $10 DVD from Best Buy, 561 Boardman-Poland Road.

Theft: A female at Boardman High School, 7777 Glenwood Ave., discovered a $300 MP3 player missing from her purse.

Theft: Dashwayla Walker of 406 Emery Ave., and Ashley S. Reyes of 2639 Tyrell St. were charged. The two 18-year-old Youngstown women were accused of stealing clothing and cosmetics from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

Criminal mischief: Two swastikas were spray-painted at a California Avenue doctor’s office.

Theft: Ashlea D. Young, 27, of 104 Woodland Drive, New Middletown, was charged with stealing $53 worth of cosmetics from Walmart.

Breaking and entering: Tools and golf clubs were removed from a garage in the 300 block of Meadowbrook Avenue.

Jan. 29

Theft: A worker for Sherwin-Williams Co., 7133 Tiffany Blvd., reported two men short-changed the store $122.

Theft: An MP3 player, a passport, a bag and various pieces of paperwork were removed from a car in the 4200 block of Stratford Road.

Theft: A woman reported the theft of her purse at a Boardman-Poland Road restaurant.

Assault: A woman at a South Avenue motel reported her boyfriend struck her head and face numerous times, then pushed her to the ground.

Drug paraphernalia: A Meadowbrook Avenue woman told police she found a suspected marijuana pipe that belonged to her son.

Theft: A man in the 200 block of Meadowbrook Avenue reported several wrenches stolen from his garage.

Menacing: Shalla Y. Furquan, 26, of 412 Wirt St., Youngstown, was taken into custody during a traffic stop on South Avenue. She was wanted on a warrant charging her.

Jan. 30

Theft: A Youngstown man reported his wallet stolen at a Doral Drive store.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle’s rear window was broken at the Southern Park Mall.

Assault: Officers charged 50-year-old Ronald Green, 344 Mansell Drive, Liberty, with simple assault after a woman at a Market Street motel alleged that when she asked Green to leave, he threw her next to a bed.

Jan. 31

Theft: Police booked 24-year-old Briana Hideg, 2785 Tibbetts-Wick Road, Hubbard, after $120 worth of clothing had been stolen from Macy’s in the Southern Park Mall. She was released on a summons.

Burglary: To an apartment in the 2000 block of Wolosyn Circle. Stolen was a $40 pen.

Harassment: A Rockdale Avenue woman said a caller claimed she had won government money.

Theft: A woman in her 50s fled from Master Cuts Inc. in the Southern Park Mall without paying $94.53 worth of services.

Theft: A woman at a South Avenue church discovered her purse and various medications missing.

Arrest: A 15-year-old Spring Hill, Fla., boy faced charges of obstructing official business and resisting arrest after a traffic stop on Market Street. The teen, who also was wanted on a pickup order from Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center in Youngstown, led police on a foot pursuit and hid in a trash bin, they said.

Misuse of a credit card: A Carter Circle woman discovered two unauthorized withdrawals from her credit-card account.

Theft: An Austintown man reported a 37-inch high-definition TV stolen in the 1000 block of West Western Reserve Road.

Feb. 3

Fraud: An employee with Pharmacy Data Management, 1170 E. Western Reserve Road, discovered someone has been using the company’s shipping code without permission, resulting in $943 worth of unauthorized charges.

Theft: Police charged a 17-year-old Euclid, Ohio, boy w in the theft of a $24 T-shirt from Macy’s in the Southern Park Mall.

Identity theft: A Spring Park Drive woman reported receiving bills to her credit card totaling $612.63 in someone else’s name.

Theft: Mary L. Adams, 52, of 7531 Struthers Road, Poland, faced a felony count after $537 worth of clothing and jewelry was stolen from Macy’s.

Theft: A Melbourne Avenue woman noticed a $150 unauthorized charge to her credit card.

Auto theft: A 2008 Dodge Intrepid was stolen in the 6000 block of Applecrest Court.

Feb. 4

Theft: Both license plates were removed from a vehicle in the 90 block of Stadium Drive.

Theft: Police charged Jessica E. Williams, 23, of 831 E. Washington St., New Castle, Pa., with stealing $80 worth of cosmetics from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

Vandalism: Someone spray-painted the front-entrance area to a Boardman-Canfield Road doctor’s office.

Menacing: A Centervale Avenue man told police an uncle threatened to harm and kill him.

Threat: A Glenwood Avenue boy said a caller threatened to kill him.

Drugs: A traffic stop on U.S. Route 224 led to the arrest of 37-year-old Joseph M. Morris, 47 Lincoln Ave., East Liverpool, on a felony charge of drug abuse (crack cocaine) and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. A police dog found small pieces of a substance that tested positive for cocaine as well as a suspected crack pipe, a report said.

Theft: Police charged a 17-year-old city girl was charged in the theft of cosmetics from Walmart.

Feb. 5

Theft: A man discovered $65 missing after he left a township movie theater.

Harassment: A Risher Road man and his daughter reported receiving a series of threatening calls.

Assault: A Cook Avenue man told authorities a man punched his mouth and choked him, then threatened to use a gun to kill the accuser.

Burglary: To a home in the 1600 block of Palo Verde Drive by unknown means. Stolen were a $300 wristwatch, a DVD player and six DVDs.

Theft: A man in his 40s left Inner Circle Pizza, 1816 Boardman-Poland Road, without paying his $19.28 food bill.

Criminal damaging: A car in the 6000 block of Applecrest Court sustained $500 in paint damage.

Theft: Three Youngstown girls, one age 16 and two age 17, were charged with taking 20 lingerie items from Walmart.

Feb. 6

Theft: Two pieces of jewelry were taken from a residence in the 7400 block of Hitchcock Road. The theft came to $1,700.

Theft: Benjamin A. Persohn, 30, of 633 Riley Ave., East Liverpool, was charged, accused of stealing eight articles of men’s clothing from Macy’s.

Misuse of a credit card: A Red Tail Hawk Drive man realized someone tried to make several unauthorized purchases with his credit card.

Assault: Police responded to a fight between two women in the 5300 block of Southern Boulevard. One woman reported having been punched; the other said much of her hair was pulled out.

Felonious assault: Authorities conducting an investigation in the 4500 block of Waseka Lane charged 50-year-old Christopher Cunningham, 212 Upland Ave., Youngstown, with felonious assault, intimidation and obstructing official business after the homeowner reported having been hit over the head with a chair. Cunningham also threatened numerous times to kill officers, and to blow up the township government building, police said.

Feb. 7

Robbery: Police took custody of 39-year-old Brandon J. Schmitt, who was in the Allegheny County, Pa., Jail and wanted on a warrant from the township. Schmitt, of 7015 Market St. Boardman, was accused in the Jan. 13 robbery of First National Bank, 7025 Market.

Theft: Michael J. Foster, 42, of 327 Foster Road,Volant, Pa., was charged with stealing 21 pieces of copper fittings from Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd.

Theft: Forty-eight compact discs and change were removed from a car in the 50 block of Maple Drive.

Theft/damage: Two vehicles in the 60 block of Clifton Drive were found with broken passenger-side windows. Similar incidents were reported in the 30 block of Clifton and the 4700 block of Market Street.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle’s window was smashed in the 4600 block of Market Street.

Assault/damage: A Youngstown woman alleged her former boyfriend deliberately slammed into her, causing her to strike a wall, at a South Avenue restaurant, then kicked and punched her car.

Theft: A laptop computer, a projector and a duffel bag were taken from a vehicle in the 40 block of Shadyside Drive.

Criminal damaging: A car in the 50 block of Willow Drive had a shattered window. Damage was estimated at $700.
