The Mahoning Valley Home and Garden Show will return this weekend to the Eastwood Expo Center, with special guest Mr. Food, whose syndicated television segments air twice daily on WKBN TV-27.

Mr. Food will give a presentation on food preparations at noon Friday and Saturday and will also greet the public and sign copies of his book.

The Valley Classics chefs will give live cooking demonstrations at 1 p.m. each day.

Back by popular demand will be Dave Dangerfield of Dangerfield Auctions, who will conduct free appraisals of antiques and collectibles from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. “It’s very interesting to watch these appraisals,” said event promoter Dominic Baragona. “It’s like being at TV’s “Antique Road Show” live.”

The show will feature many new exhibitors this year, as well as new and larger landscape displays.

Hours are noon to 9 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 ($4 for seniors and free for 17 and under).
