Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. The menu will feature homemade baked chicken, salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread and butter, pie and beverage. Cost is $6.50, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. THURSDAY

Woodworth Church of the Brethren, 30 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland, will sponsor a takeout meatloaf dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The cost is $6 for a meal of meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, green beans and a cookie. Drive up to the back door, place your order, and the meal will be brought to you. FRIDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will serve the following meals from 3 to 7 p.m. each Friday: all-you-can-eat fried fish with french fries or macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, rolls and beverage; chicken with fries, coleslaw, rolls and beverage; or shrimp with fries, coleslaw, rolls and beverage. Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $5 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Advance sales only. St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. Cost is $4.50 a dozen. St. Michael Family Life Center, 340 N. Broad St., Canfield, will have a fish fry from 4 to 8 p.m. Entr es are fried or baked haddock or fried shrimp; sides include haluski, pirogi, fries or macaroni and cheese. St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. The cost is $5 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.

VFW Post 9571, Ellsworth Road, Ellsworth, will have an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. Chicken fingers or shrimp will be available. The cost is $7.50 for adults and $7 for seniors.

SATURDAY

Brookfield Township Fire Department will have its fifth annual wild game dinner at Yankee Lake Ballroom, 1800 state Route 7 NE. Doors open at 5 p.m., and dinner will be at 6. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door. There will be a gun raffle, basket auction, hog and beef raffles and a flat screen TV raffle. St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 159 Reed Ave., Campbell, is taking orders for homemade haluski from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Wednesday and pickup will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Feb. 25. The cost is $5 a quart.

Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church is accepting orders until March 1 for stuffed cabbage at $15 per dozen and haluski at $5 per quart.
