Boardman police charge man with bigamy

Police issued two warrants for a 33-year-old Pennsylvania man accused of marrying two women.

Arrest warrants have been filed for Donald G. Meyers Jr. of Ellwood City, Pa., on charges of falsification and bigamy. Both are misdemeanor offenses.

On Jan. 13, a 30-year-old woman from Harmony, Pa., told police she married Meyers on March 5, 2004, in New Brighton, Pa., and that the two are still married. Police said the woman recently learned that her husband had married a 28-year-old woman at Forever Yours Wedding Chapel, 1714 Boardman-Poland Road.

A copy of the marriage-license application from Mahoning County Probate Court shows that Meyers answered that he had never been previously married.
