Fitch juniors to attend leadership conference

AUSTINTOWN

Two juniors at Austintown Fitch High School have been selected to participate in the Rotary Youth Leadership Award Conference Feb. 25-27 at the Avalon Inn in Howland.

The juniors, Kayleigh Choma and Christine Holmes, are being sponsored by the Rotary Club of Austintown.

Kayleigh, daughter of Greg and Renay Choma, is active in soccer and junior ACRY at St. Nicholas Church in Warren. Christine, daughter of Scot and Donna Holmes, is active in softball and the Food Bank at Mahoning United Methodist Church.

The juniors were chosen as participants by Interact Club advisers Tina Kubacki and Gary Reel based on their involvement in school and community organizations and their display of leadership during their freshman and sophomore years.
