Police nab man wanted in 2010 South Side shooting
YOUNGSTOWN — Police have apprehended the city man who was on the run from authorities since he is believed to have shot a bystander in the head during a fight on the South Side late last year.
Kshaun Weaver, 19, of East LaClede Avenue, appeared today before Magistrate Anthony Sertick of Youngstown Municipal Court on several charges including felonious assault and illegally carrying a firearm in the shooting of 22-year-old Kenneth Woods Jr.
He is also facing an additional drug charge and resisting arrest from incidents that took place when he was arrested Saturday.
Magistrate Sertick ordered Weaver placed in Mahoning County jail on a combined $185,000 bond.
