The Beaver Township 200th Anniversary Committee will have its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Committee members are finalizing plans for various activities to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the establishment of the township. Volunteers are invited to help plan, prepare and participate in events.

The board also is accepting applications for pavilion reservations for 2011. The cost is $45 for residents; $75 for nonresidents. For more information, contact the board.

Roll for a Cure

AUSTINTOWN

Tickets are available for a Relay For Life of Poland fundraiser. Roll for a Cure will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Mahoning Valley Lanes, 2617 Mahoning Ave. The cost is $10 for adults and $7 for children 12 and younger. Tickets will be sold at the door, and the price includes three hours of unlimited bowling and shoe rental. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

Beaver Township Park Board is offering sponsorships to help fund summer programs.

Scott Conway, township park administrator, said these programs include the music in the park series, children’s programs and education series.

Individuals, businesses and other organizations can sponsor events. For contributions of up to $100, sponsors are acknowledged in the park board’s activities programs; $101 to $249, sponsors are acknowledged in the programs and included on a group banner; $250 and over, sponsors are featured on individual banners displayed at events, programs and included on the group banner.
