Watsons mark 60th anniversary at country club

TWINSBURG

Mr. and Mrs. William Watson of Twinsburg were honored by their family during a celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary at the Congress Lake Country Club in Hartville. The festivity was hosted by their son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Thomas and Chrissie Ann Watson.

Attending were their other children and their spouses, William and Ruth Watson, Elisabeth and Michael Alexander and Sara and Marshall Lillquist. Their grandchildren and great-grandchildren also attended the event.

Mr. Watson and the former Dolores Sostaric were united in marriage on Feb. 3, 1951, in Youngstown. The longtime residents of Liberty graduated from Youngstown State University and taught many years in Trumbull County schools. Mr. Watson is a decorated World War II combat veteran.
