Ursuline Center plans lecture series on wellness of body and mind

CANFIELD

Dr. Joseph Mosca, dean of Youngstown State University’s Bitonte College of Health and Human Services, will conduct Wise of Mind, part one of a three-part lecture series at The Ursuline Center.

The lecture will be 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at The Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road.

Although the lecture series is designed for adults age 50 and over, all ages are welcome.

Two other sessions are planned:

Father Nicholas Shori, director of parish plan implementation for the Diocese of Youngstown, will conduct Whole in Spirit on March 2, from 10-11:30 a.m.

In Well of Body, Eve Bevilacqua, local fitness expert and wellness director for Copeland Oaks/Crandall Medical Center, will teach participants new ways to stay fit without strenuous physical activity 10 to 11:30 a.m. April 5.

A donation of $10 per session is requested, or $25 for the entire series.
