Mr., Mrs. Hawkins and family observe 60th anniversary

Ellis and Mary Ann Hawkins celebrated their 60th anniversary at a family dinner at the Blue Wolf Tavern in Boardman.

Hosting the dinner were their children, Terri and Bob Ruggiero, Greg and Joann Hawkins, Mitch and Fredda Hawkins and Amy and Mark Harrold. The Hawkinses have 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins were married Jan. 27, 1951, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in East Palestine. They belong to St. Jude Church in Columbiana.

Mr. Hawkins retired from the Neff Co. in Canfield in 1992. He served as a military policeman in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
